ARLINGTON, Texas - The Texas-Arlington volleyball team has announced that Friday's match versus Sam Houston State due to the threat of Hurricane Rita.

The match was scheduled for Friday evening at 7 p.m. at Texas Hall. No make-up date has been announced.

The Mavericks (2-9, 0-2 SLC) will still be in action Thursday at 7 p.m. when they host Southland Conference pre-season favorite Stephen F. Austin at Texas Hall.
