Training will be geared toward the more advanced player with an emphasis on offensive and defensive systems.
The Advanced Position Camp is also designed specifically for the campers entering the 9th through 12th grades. The camp is for the serious player who already has a grasp for the basics. Focus is on specialized setter or hitter training. Setters will work on footwork, hand placement, accuracy and setting options. Hitters will work on arm swing, approach, pass to approach, dig to approach and transition training.
Each camper will receive a souvenir UTA Volleyball, a UTA Camp T-shirt, Daily Camper Awards. All campers are required to dress in athletic attire - tennis shoes and knee pads. Campers are also asked to bring drinking water.
