BORDER OLYMPICS FINAL RESULTS 
LAREDO, Tex. - UTA's Bobby Massa earned his first victory of the season and the second of his career as he shot a five-under par score of 216 to win the individual title at the annual Border Olympics.
Massa had rounds of 66-73-72 at the par 72, 7,214-yard Laredo Country Club to win the tournament after posting three second place finishes already this season. He won the Diet Pepsi/Shocker Classic at Wichita State as a freshman two years ago.
The team had their third consecutive top-5 finish of the spring as they finished fourth with a team score of 888 to finish 11 strokes behind winning team Baylor.
Michael Van deVenter finished in a tie for 20th with a seven-over score of 223 while Kevin Carrigan and Zack Fischer both tied for 51st with scores of 230. Bryce Easton finished in a tie for 60th win a score of 233.
