UMB BANK MIZZOU INTERCOLLEGIATE FINAL RESULTS 
COLUMBIA, Mo. - UTA's final round comeback bid fell just short at the UMB Bank-Mizzou Intercollegiate as the Mavericks finished in a tie for second, just two shots behind tournament winner Kansas State.
The Mavs carded a third round team total of 296 and finished with a team score of 876. UTA entered the final round six shots behind the Wildcats who shot 300 in the final round and finished at 10-over 874.
Each UTA individual improved their score from the second round in Tuesday's final round.
Michael Van deVenter and Zack Fischer finished in a tie for ninth at three-over 219 after shooting 74 and 73 respectively Tuesday. Fischer's 73 was the best final round score of any of the Mavericks.
Kevin Carrigan carded a two-over 74 and was in a tie for 12 at 221 (5-over). Bobby Massa finished in a tie for 17th at 224 after a 75 in round three. Bryce Easton also shot 75 and finished the tournament at 226 and in a tie for 28th.
The Mavericks next tournament is at the Southland Conference Tournament from April 27-29 in Kerrville, Texas.
