Arlington, Texas - The UT Arlington men's tennis team wrapped up tennis action at the Texas Invitational in Austin, Texas.

In the quarterfinals, Yauheni Yakauleu dropped a 6-1, 7-6 decision to OU's Tsvetan Mihov.

Junior Jason Lateko headed into the singles quarterfinals unbeaten and ready to face Jacob Strauss of OU. Despite a hard fought effort, Lateko suffered a 6-3, 6-7, and 6-0 loss.

Hjertonsson lost his quarterfinals match to Logon Collins, 6-3, 1-6 and 6-3. Freshman Nicolas Moreno dropped a 6-4, 6-3 decision to Alex Hilliard of Texas in the quarterfinals.

The end of the Texas Invitational concludes the Mavericks fall schedule. UTA will now prepare for the spring season beginning January 23. The Mavs travel to TCU for an 11 a.m. match.
