Diet Pepsi Shocker Classic Final Results 
Wichita, Kan. - The UTA golf team tied their best finish of the season Tuesday as they were second at the Diet Pepsi Shocker Classic.
The Mavericks shot a team score of 302 in Tuesday's final round to finish 12 strokes behind tournament champion and host Wichita State.
Wes Worster led the Mavericks with a six-over score of 219 as he finished in a tie for third. Zack Fischer finished in a tie for fifth at 220 (+7).
Donald Dowie fell back to the pack Tuesday as he shot 78 to finish in a tie for 21st at 226. Bryce Easton had the best round of the day for UTA as he carded a one-over 72 and finished in a tie for 26th at 228. Bobby Massa shot a 79 Tuesday and finished in a tie for 39th at 231.
Trey Herring shot a two-over 73 and finished in a tie for 42nd.
The Mavericks are back in action next week at the Texas State Invitational on Monday and Tuesday. That will be their last tournament before the Southland Conference Tournament.
