Ruston, La. - Due to inclement weather in Northern Louisiana, Saturday's baseball game against UT Arlington at J.C. Love Field has been postponed.
Game 2 of the series will be played Sunday at 1 p.m. with the series finale following 45 minutes after the completion of the first game. Both games will be nine innings.
UTA is scheduled to start Colin Reynolds in Game 2 and a starter hasn't been desiginated for Game 3.
The Mavericks won the opener Friday night 17-10. A scoring correction in the first inning has changed what was previously ruled an error on a line shot to the shortstop by Matt Shortall into a hit. That gave Shortall five hits for the game in six at-bats.
