Arlington, Texas - Nike Golf Schools & Junior Camps added another prominent Division I institution to their 2012 golf camp schedule by teaming up with UT Arlington for one week of overnight golf camp this summer. The program at UTA will represent the only Nike Overnight Camp offering in the state of Texas.

UTA Head Men's Golf Coach, Jay Rees, will direct the Nike Golf Camp alongside other teaching professionals and members of the Mavericks men's golf team. Rees, a three-time Southland Conference Coach of the Year, looks forward to offering a memorable week of instruction for players of all ability levels.

"The University of Texas at Arlington Golf program is excited to host this camp for young golfers," states Jay Rees. "We look forward to helping everyone have fun and get better this summer! Nike has been a generous supporter of college golf and we are thrilled to work with US Sports Camps to give campers a once-in-a-lifetime experience!"

The Nike Junior Overnight Camp at UT Arlington is scheduled for June 17 - 21. The program is coed and open to junior golfers, ages 10 - 18. Campers are housed on campus and travel to Texas Star Golf Course for golf activities. For those golfers who live locally, there is a day camp option during the same camp week.
