Why did you choose UT Arlington? I felt very comfortable around the team on my recruiting visit. The coaching staff welcomed me with open arms. I also liked the communications department and the way the major is setup.
What are you looking forward to most this season? I'm looking forward to traveling and getting to know my team mates and coaches better. This is a new team, so I'm looking forward to the whole experience.
What is your favorite volleyball moment of your career up to this point? I have a lot of favorite moments so it's hard to pick just one. But those moments are mostly on the court after a long rally and all the emotions are flaring, you're tired and you win the point. That's a very satisfying moment.
What do you do to get ready for a match? I take a quick nap, and dance around the locker room listening to a playlist that changes just about every week. But it usually consist of The Weeknd, some 2 Chainz, some Frank Ocean, and some dancing music. Just music that gets me hyped and a little music that keeps me calm. It's a perfect balance of music.
What is your favorite pre-game meal? I love getting a Fiji chicken apple salad and an Italian combo sandwich from Panera. My two favorite things on the menu, they're so good.
What do you enjoy doing outside of volleyball? I love to cook and eat!
How have you spent your summer? I spent the summer working out, working, and spending time with my family and friends.
What is something unique about yourself that you can tell Maverick fans? I am actually left handed but I play volleyball with my right hand. I played basketball since I was 5 years old and didn't start playing volleyball until the 10th grade.
