Former UTA guard Jalen Jones is among 64 players invited to participate in The Worldwide Invitational, which will take place July 9-11 in Las Vegas.  The event conducts a unique player draft to determine invitees and Jones was selected 47th by coach Italian coach Stefano Cioppi, the head coach of VL Pesaro in Italy's Serie A.

The Worldwide Invitational provides an opportunity for invited players to showcase their skills to head coaches from Australia, Germany, Belgium and Italy. In addition to playing for professional international coaches, the players will also have the opportunity to be scouted by general managers and coaches from many of the top leagues in Europe, Asia and the NBA's G-League. 

The Worldwide Invitational will take place at UNLV's Student Wellness & Recreation Center and has seen 84 percent of its players play professionally over the last three seasons.
