Former UTA men's basketball standout Karol Gruszecki has signed a 2-year agreement to play for Polski Cukier Torun in the Polish League.

Gruszecki spent the last two seasons with 2017 Polish League champions Stelmet BC Zielona Gora.  Last year he averaged 6.7 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.0 steals per game  He also played in the FIBA Europe Cup, averaging 12 points per game, and the Basketball Champions League.

A member of the Polish National Team, he represented his native country at the 2015 European Championships and previously spent time with professional teams in Belgium and Poland.
