A product of Wylie High School, junior setter Madison Helt is coming off a redshirt season after a productive freshman campaign in 2015. Helt played in 29 matches as a freshman and averaged 1.89 digs per set, with seven matches in double-figure digs.

Teammate with the messiest locker?
"Allie Deese."

Teammate with the cleanest locker?
"Mine. I am such a clean person."

If you had to eat with one utensil for the rest of your life, what is it?
"I'm going to go with a fork. Because I like to eat my steak."

If you had to join another sport on campus?
"Softball."

What would your superpower be?
"To heal people, I've always wanted to have that super power."

Favorite flavor of ice cream?
"I just tried cookie two step for the first time. Quite delicious."

Favorite home-cooked meal?
"Anything my grandma makes but she makes a good meatloaf."

Pens or pencils?
"Pens, most definitely."

If you had to bring one teammate to be stranded on an island with, who is it?
"I guess my roommate Allie Deese, she's a pretty good friend."

One job you could not do?
"Singing. If I were a singer, it would not be good."

Daily task that if turned into an Olympic sport you would medal in?
"Cleaning. I clean a lot."

First question you ask after waking up from being frozen for 100 years?
"Did you freeze my poodle too?"

TV channel that doesn't exist that should?
"I don't know I only really like HGTV."

If you had to give a 20-minute presentation on a subject with no preparation, what is it on?
"Probably my dog. I love him."
