• UT Arlington fell to Louisiana 54-48 on Thursday night.
• UTA used the same lineup for the second consecutive game in Rebekah VanDijk, Crystal Allen, Lauren Billie, Shelby Richards and Laurynn McGowen.
• Miranda LeJune was UTA's first sub, entering with 4:19 in the first quarter, entering for McGowen.
• UTA turned the ball over 21 times, resulting in a 23-9 differential in points off turnovers in favor of Louisiana.
• VanDijk became just the second player in UTA history to record 200 or more blocks, picking up an early one to start the game. VanDijk grabbed the 46th double-double of her career early in the fourth quarter. VanDijk has had 10 or more rebounds in 54 games in her career and has been in double figures in 78.
• VanDijk had another stellar game in a storied Lady Maverick career. The Nazareth, Texas native posted her program record 46th double-double with a team-high 18 points and 10 rebounds. Rewriting the all-time UTA record books, VanDijk finishes as the all-time leading rebounder with 1,120, third in scoring with 1,676 points, second in blocks with 203, third in free throws made at 354, and second in field goals made with 661.
• UTA took its first lead at the 7:40 mark in the first quarter on an early 4-0 run. Louisiana led for 36:55, while the game was tied four times.
• UTA has won 10 of its last 13 games.
• Louisiana advances to play No. 2 Texas State in the Sun Belt semifinals on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
