BEAUMONT, Texas – The UT Arlington women's golf team completed its regular season on Tuesday with the final round of Lamar's Cardinal Challenge from Beaumont Country Club.

The Mavericks improved by nine shots from their 2nd round with a 316 in the final round to finish in 10th place overall with a 54-hole total of 964.

- Tran finished tied for 3rd in the field in par-3 scoring for the three rounds at even par. She moved up five spots from her overnight position on the leaderboard as the senior did not make anything worse than a bogey in her final round.
- Adams bettered her position by 16 spots from the end of the 2nd round thanks to a team-leading four birdies in the final round.
- Murray led UTA and tied for the 7th-most birdies in the field for the 54 holes with seven.
- Sam Houston won the 11-team event with a three-round 884 total.
NEXT ON THE TEE
The Mavs will head to the Sun Belt Conference Championship Apr. 18-20 in Daytona Beach, Fla., at LPGA International.
