INSIDE THE SCORES
CRONJE
After not recording a birdie and sitting at +3 after 14 holes, the South African caught fire in his final four holes, recording three birdies with a bogey factored in on the 16th to produce the round of 73.
Â
MILLER
Miller, the Kansas State grad transfer, sat at +2 through 12 holes. A birdie on the par-4 13th got him to +1, and an eagle – his second of season – on the 561-yard 17th got him into red figures with UTA's best round of the day at 1-under.
Â
MIYA
The New Zealand native rolled in four birdies compared with five bogeys in his final round, finishing with a 73 – his second-best round of the young season. He didn't post anything worse than a bogey, had his card at level par with three holes to play but finished bogey-bogey-birdie to cap for the +1 showing.
Â
BECK
The sophomore birdied the 2nd hole and looked primed for another solid round. However, a bogey on the 4th and double bogey on the par-3 5th hole pushed the Mansfield native to +2, which is where he remained for the next eight holes. He finally broke the par streak with two late birdies – on holes 14 and 17 – help him get back to even par before signing for a 73. Â
Â
KANTH
The graduate transfer opened up his final round with a birdie on the par-5 2nd hole, and remained -1 through his first four holes. However, a bogey on 5 followed by a double bogey on 6 caused the London native to move above par. Kanth carded another double on the 16th, but he was able to shrug it off and record back-to-back birdies to finish the tournament with a 74.
