INSIDE THE SCORES
Le
- Getting her start on hole 1, Le played the front nine in +3 after an opening double and a bogey on 4. The sophomore's play remained consistent on the back side with just one hiccup coming on 13 which led her to a 2nd-round 75.
Gabel
- Gabel matched her 1st-round 76 in Tuesday's 2nd round as she was one of two Mavericks who didn't put anything higher than a bogey on her card. The sophomore's round consisted of 13 pars and five bogeys.
Choi
- Choi improved her score by shaving off four shots from Monday's opening-round as she capped a 2nd-round 75. The fifth year was responsible for both birdies across the course of the day for UTA which came on holes 5 and 8.
Manikandesh
- Despite logging a 1st-round 75, the transfer struggled to gain any momentum throughout Tuesday's round as several big numbers were too much to overcome.
Gulhane
- The freshman played the first nine holes in 6-over (2-10) after an unfortunate triple and three bogeys slowed her down. Gulhane went on to play the closing holes in +8 with two additional bogeys coming on 13 and 1.
NEXT UP
The Mavs will take a brief two-week break from fall action before heading out west to Las Cruces, New Mexico to compete in NM State's Golf Iconic Classic beginning Monday, Oct. 9 through Wednesday, Oct. 11.
