ARLINGTON – The UT Arlington Maverick baseball fell to the Texas Tech Red Raiders 13-1 in the Kubota College Series at Globe Life Field.

The Mavericks struggled to plate any runs on the day, with Garrison Berkley driving in the lone run in the bottom of the 5th, bringing in Jordan Medellin. UTA singled 5 out of their 7 hits and only strung together back-to-back hits twice against a tough Red Raider bullpen. Jackson Hill, the freshman from Keller, Texas got to make his collegiate debut as a pinch hitter in the bottom of the 9th inning for Tyce Armstrong

All 7 of the hits garnered from UTA were accounted by 7 different players. Along with Berkley's aforementioned-RBI hit, Jordan Medellin, Ryan Black, Parker Airhart, Ryan Ellis, Tyce Armstrong and Cason Gregory accounted for the other 6 hits.
