ARLINGTON, Texas – The UT Arlington women's basketball team and head coach
Shereka Wright announced prior to Wednesday night's game against the Texas Southern Tigers, that junior forward
Miraya Perkins will miss the remainder of the 2025-26 campaign.
Days leading up to the Lady Mavs game at Little Rock, Perkins sustained a season-ending injury and will undergo surgery shortly after the first of the year.
The Dallas, Texas native appeared in eight games on the season and was averaging 4.6 points and 1.8 rebounds in 13.4 minutes per contest. She was coming off her best performance of the season, putting up a season-high 11 points in 19 minutes of action on the final day of the Hawaii North Shore Classic in a win against VCU.
