EL MACERO, California – UT Arlington's men's golf finished the opening round of the El Macero Classic, hosted by UC Davis, on Friday from El Macero Country Club.
Ethan Miller was the team's best finisher on day one at +3, while
Cameron Beck was +4. Miller birdied a pair of holes, Nos. 5 and 15, while parring 12 others. Beck birdied on three occasions, on Nos. 1, 14 and 18, respectively, while carding pars on nine holes.
The Mavs return to action on Saturday with round two of the event, teeing off beginning at 11:42 a.m. CT.
