ARLINGTON, Texas - Despite taking the series opener, the UT Arlington softball team suffered consecutive losses to Seattle U on Saturday to conclude regular season action.
GAME 1 | Seattle U 3, UT Arlington 2 (9 innings)
Senior Jessica Adams (6-4) got the ball to start for UT Arlington (24-23, 10-13) and took the loss. The right-hander went nine innings, giving up three runs, one earned, on 10 hits, allowing no walks and striking out three.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Trailing 2-0, the Mavericks first put runs on the board in the seventh inning. UT Arlington scored twice in the inning, including one on a solo shot from sophomore Mia McNulty. Seattle U then scored one time over the remaining two innings to break the tie and grab the 3-2 win.

Senior Emilie Hoelscher (9-6) took the loss in the circle for UT Arlington (24-24, 10-14). Senior Jessica Adams was a bright spot out of the bullpen, going one inning, surrendering one run on one hit.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Trailing 1-0, the Mavericks first put runs on the board in the fifth inning. UT Arlington's offense started clicking and put up four runs, including a one-run walk off the bat of sophomore Kaitlyn Sailor. The Mavericks were unable to hold the lead, as Seattle U scored nine times over the remaining three innings to grab the 10-4 win.
