Prior to UTA: First team all-district selection as a junior and senior at Alief Hastings High School...hit .440 with six home runs and 33 RBIs as a senior...went 7-5 with 93 strikeouts his senior year...named team MVP and best offensive player his junior and senior years...selected to the Greater Houston all-star team ...earned second team all-district laurels as a sophomore ...honorable mention all-district selection as a freshman...member of Who[apos]s Who Among High School Students...also competed in basketball.

Personal: Son of Karen and Mike Hahn...born Sept. 22, 1984...father played football at Stephen F. Austin...undecided on a major at UTA.
