Biography

2003: 1-0, 5.62...made 11 appearances on the season, with two coming in the starting role...made starts against Baylor and Texas Wesleyan...struck out two hitters in one inning of work in his collegiate debut at Texas...picked up his first victory by striking out the only batter he faced in an extra inning victory over New Mexico...earned his only save of the season two days later against Arkansas State.

Prior to UTA: Comes to UT-Arlington after earning District 19-5A MVP honors at James E. Taylor High School in Houston, Texas, where he graduated in 2002...also tabbed as a second team All-Greater Houston and All-State performer as a pitcher in high school.

Personal: Son of Deb and Tom Watson...born June 25, 1984...an education major at UTA.
