CAREER OVERVIEW
Transferred to UTA from Salt Lake Community College after beginning his career at Division-I Iona … grew up in Germany but moved to the United States in September of 2019 to complete his senior year of high school at Bishop Walsh in Cumberland, Md., where he was rated as a 3-star recruit … spent his freshman season at Iona in 2020-21 where he received an extra year of COVID eligibility … utilized a redshirt season and did not play in 2021-22 while enrolling at Salt Lake CC mid-year … completed his redshirt freshman season with Salt Lake CC in 2022-23.
AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN AT SALT LAKE (2022-23) | Game-By-Game Stats
Averaged 9 points, 5 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.1 steals over 28 games in which he made 15 starts … reached double-figure points 12 times and had four double-doubles … shot a gaudy 70.1 percent (94-134) from the floor, which was the 5th-highest percentage nationally … the only player in the country during the season to connect at a 70-percent rate from the floor and the free throw line (72.1) … the last time a JUCO player at any level (Division I, II or III) shot 70+ percent from both the field and charity stripe for a season was 2019-20 … delivered a season-high 18 points against Casper College (Nov. 4) … pulled down a season-best 11 rebounds on three occasions … issued a season-most eight assists at Community Christian College (Jan. 6) … helped lead the Bruins to the NJCAA Tournament Second Round and a 29-5 record one year after finishing as the national runner-up.

Playing for Hall of Fame coach Rick Pitino, he appeared in all 18 games during the COVID-impacted year and averaged 2.7 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.1 assists … made 12 starts, 10 of which came consecutively to end the year, including the MAAC Championship and Iona’s NCAA Tournament contest against Alabama … notched a pair of 10-point games, one of which was in the MAAC Tournament versus Quinnipiac (Mar. 9) … secured a season-high seven rebounds in his first collegiate start at Hofstra (Dec. 5) … passed out three assists three times during the year … Iona went nearly two months without playing a game from late-December to mid-February due to COVID.
