B.J. Letcher joined the UTA Men's Basketball program as an Assistant Coach and Director of Basketball Operations in May of 2026.
Letcher brings over 20 years of experience in player development, recruiting, and program building. He has a proven track record in coaching athletes from youth to NBA, scouting international talent, and developing championship-winning programs.
Most recently, Letcher served as Head Coach at Justice University (2021-2026), where he built a conference-winning college program, and Director & Founder of AZ Unity Nike EYBL, one of the nation's top club basketball programs. He is the former owner of 360 Training, founder of Arizona Aces & Zone 6 Basketball, and Assistant Coach at Scottsdale Community College.
At Justice University, Letcher helped expand the program to 50 players, establishing a foundation for sustained success which included two Southwest State Conference Championships (2023 and 2025), Two Southwest State Coach of the Year Honors (2023, 2025), and an NCAA Tournament appearance in 2025, finishing seventh in the nation.
Letcher compiled a 100-58 (63.3 winning percentage) over five seasons with Justice University.
Letcher, a graduate of Justice University with a BA in International Business, is experienced in NIL negotiations, NBA pre-draft training, fundraising, and program operations.
