In his role with the Mavericks, Milton III is responsible for the preparation of the student-athletes’ physical and mental health, as he aids in the pre-practice and post-practice maintenance of the men’s basketball roster. Prior to his time with the Bayhawks in Northwest Pennsylvania, Milton III served from 2016-19 as the graduate assistant coordinator and assistant athletic trainer for the ULM men’s basketball and women’s tennis teams. It represented his second stint with the fellow Sun Belt member as he previously was a graduate assistant athletic trainer with the Warhawks from 2013-14, where he oversaw the medical aspects of both the football and baseball teams.

Milton III also brings a diverse professional sports background to UTA, as he spent 2015-16 as the associate athletic trainer with the Orlando Magic, assisting and supporting the head athletic trainer in daily operations. In 2014-15, Milton III spent time with the New Orleans Saints as a seasonal assistant athletic training intern.

A certified and licensed athletic trainer, Milton III received his Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from Nicholls State in May of 2013 and his Master of Education in Educational Technology Leadership in July of 2014.
