After a standout five-year career with the Mavs, Liz Chileno joins the UT Arlington tennis coaching staff as a graduate assistant.
Chileno was a two-time first team all-conference selection with UTA, including First Team All-WAC as a graduate senior in 2023 and First Team All-Sun Belt as a fourth-year senior. Academically, she was a four-time all-academic team honoree at the conference level.
In her career, Chileno went 64-42 as a singles competitor, as well as 53-40 in doubles. Her all-conference honor in 2023 came after a 19-10 finish in doubles, and her Sun Belt award in 2022 came after posting a 19-6 singles record.
A native of Ciudad del Este, Paraguay, Chileno was the top-ranked 16-year-old in South America and a national champion in her prep career.
