Alexis Curtiss joined the UTA staff as a team manager for the 2017 season. Curtiss was a catcher at the University of Buffalo and graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology. In four years, Curtiss had a career batting average of .358 and currently holds five records at Buffalo in career hits, single-season hits, career doubles, single-season doubles and runs scored. She was a two-time first-team All-Conference selection, a four-time member of the Academic Honor Roll, a member of the All-Tournament first team, Capital One All-District Team and NFCA First Team All-Region. 

In 2016, Curtiss coached for the San Diego Batbusters-Fox and coached the varsity team at The Bishops School. She is from San Diego, Cali.
