James Turk enters his fourth season as a volunteer assistant with UTA. Turk currently serves as a coach for Texas Advantage Volleyball, a juniors club, and has coached club volleyball for the past 17 years. 

A 2009 graduate of Cameron University in Lawton, Okla., Turk served as the varsity head coach at Trinity Christian Academy in Addison from 2001-04 and spent seven years as an assistant coach at Bishop Lynch and Ursuline Academy in Dallas. He also spent time as a student assistant at Cameron
