Christian Evans was named UT Arlington's Associate AD for Facilities and Game Day Operations in October 2024.

Evans supervises the day-to-day operations of the UTA athletics facilities unit, while also overseeing game day operations for all Mavericks athletics events. Additionally, he manages budgets, personnel and revenue generation opportunities through facility rentals and will play a prominent role in the future planning of athletics facilities at UTA.
 
Evans joins UTA after spending the past four years (2021-24) as the Assistant Athletics Director for Event Management and Operations at Dartmouth. While in Hanover, New Hampshire, Evans oversaw event management for all 35 varsity sports with over 200 home events per year and served as a member of the varsity sports administration.
 
Prior to his time at Dartmouth, Evans was the Associate Director of Event Operations at UCLA from 2018-21, where he served as the primary event administrator for women's basketball, women's gymnastics, men's volleyball, women's soccer and women's volleyball, while also supporting the Assistant Athletics Director of Event Operations with UCLA football and men's basketball.
 
Evans also spent time at both Kansas State as an Event Operations Graduate Assistant (2016-17) and an Events Operations Assistant at Texas (2015-16), assisting with numerous NCAA and conference championship events.
 
Evans is a 2016 graduate of Temple University with a Bachelor of Science in Sport and Recreation Management, and also boasts a Master of Science in Counseling and Student Development with a concentration in Intercollegiate Athletics from Kansas State University (2018).
