Tyler Reece was hired as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach in January 2025. His current team responsibilities are Baseball, Men and Women’s Tennis and Cross Country, while assisting with track and field.
Reece spent the previous three years at Bucknell University as a strength and conditioning coach working with a variety of teams which included Baseball, W. Tennis, Field Hockey, W. Soccer, Water Polo, and Rowing.
Prior to Buckell, Reece spent almost 7 years at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, first as an assistant strength coach, leaving as the Assistant Director of Strength and Conditioning. While at UNLV, he worked with a variety of sports and oversaw the nutrition department. In Las Vegas he also began training athletes outside of college, working with Cirque Du Soleil artists and Professional Boxers.
In 2011 he received a bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Health Science from Missouri Western State University. Following his time at MWSU he obtained a master’s degree in education from Central Methodist University while working as a Graduate Assistant in Strength and Conditioning for CMU in 2015. He also completed internships at TCU and the University of Missouri.
Reece holds his CSCS certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association as well as being USTFCCCA certified.
