UTA runner Ivorita Taylor ran season-best time of two-minutes, 10.02-seconds but she finished in 13th in a fast-paced 800 meters run at the NCAA Midwest Regionals here Friday.
Taylor's time failed to qualify for the NCAA Outdoor Nationals June 8-11, in Sacramento, Calif.
Today, UTA will watch sophomore Tiffanie Reeves try and advance to the nationals in the women's shot put at 6 p.m.
Other results from Friday had the women's 4x100-meter relay team of Kim Hargers, Ellen Garrison, Shana Rash and Brittany Williams finish in 12th place with a 45.85.
