FRSICO, Texas-- Texas-Arlington's Terra Wallace, the 2006-07 Southland Conference Preseason Player of the Year, becomes the first player to earn Aeropostale Women's Basketball Player of the Week honor this season. It is also the sixth time she has earned the honor in her career, winning the honors three times in 2005-06 and twice in 2004-05.
Wallace, the 2005-06 Southland Conference Player of the Year, finished with 23 points in Texas-Arlington's season-opening 69-60 victory over Northern Arizona, adding four rebounds, four assists and four steals in the game. She shot 6-14 from the field and 10-12 from the free throw line.
The Round Rock, Texas, native led the league with 19.1 points, 5.0 assists and 2.24 3-pointers per game last season. She scored at least 20 points in 14 outings and had two 30-point performances last year, including a 31 point night against Troy and a career-best 34 points at Texas-San Antonio.

Parker scored 22 points in the team's season- opening 81-65 victory over Texas Southern.
Caronica Randle, Central Arkansas
Randle finished with 26 points in Central Arkansas' 79-69 season-opening loss to Tennessee-Martin.
Vivian Ewalefo, Texas-San Antonio
Ewalefo led UTSA in scoring in its two games last week, scoring 18 points against Texas Tech and 16 points against SMU.
Natashia Green, Stephen F. Austin
Green netted 18 points against Southern Miss on Sunday and had 12 against Tulane.
