DENTON, Texas - UTA high jumper Michael Sychrava cleared a personal-best height of 6-10.75 (2.10m) to win the high jump competition at the Jason's Deli/North Texas Twilight Meet here April 27.

Sophomore Michael Cast tossed the javelin 189-feet (57.61m) to take second place.

Devario Johnson jumped 7.17 meters (23-feet-0) in the long jump.

In the sprints, Jake Schmidt ran times of 11.38 seconds in the 100 meters and 22.79 in the 200 meters.

On Saturday, the UTA distance runners travel to Houston to compete at the Rice Twilight Meet.
