WINDSOR, ONTARIO, Canada - - Former UT Arlington sprinter Jared Connaughton finished third at the 2007 RBC Canadian Track and Field Championship at Windsor, Ontario, Sunday evening.

He finished with a time of 20.90 seconds. Brian Barnett won the national championship with a time of 20.52 and Gavin Smellie was second at 20.75.

Connaughton, an 11-time all-Southland Conference performer and the reigning two-time 200-meter champion, will represent Canada at the 2007 Pan American Games at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, July 25-27.
