The Mavericks women's basketball team is coming off a tough loss against Western Michigan and looks to snap their loosing streak with a win against the UT Pan American Broncs.

UTA fell to Western Michigan in a hard-fought 67-63 battle in the Beach Classic while UTPA is coming of a 94-51 victory over Houston-Tilloston University.

Wednesday's contest will be the 8th meeting between UT Arlington and UT Pan American with the Mavericks leading the series 7-0.

The last time the two teams met was last year where UT Arlington defeated the Broncs 81-72 in Texas Hall.

The Mavericks hope to increase their record against the UTPA Broncs to 8-0 after the match up.
