THE GAME: UT Arlington women's basketball heads to Little Rock, Ark. Saturday to face UALR at The Jack Stephens Center. The two schools met in January when the Trojans defeated the Mavericks 64-57 in Arlington.

SCOUTING ULM: A season-long, three-game winning streak is intact for the UALR women's basketball team, and they'll look to extend it to four games on Saturday. Taylor Gault leads the Trojans with 15.0 points per game this season, while Kiera Clark tops the team with 6.4 rebounds per game and Taylor Ford has 3.9 assists each game. UALR is allowing a league-low 57.0 points per contest this year.
LAST TIME OUT: UT Arlington suffered its third-straight loss Wednesday night falling 73-47 to Arkansas State at the Convocation Center. Forty-seven points in the lowest total for the Mavericks since they scored 46 against No. 10 Oklahoma on Nov. 20, 2013. UT Arlington dropped to 3-21 overall and 2-11 in Sun Belt Conference action. Senior center Desherra Nwanguma led the Mavericks in scoring for the tenth time this season, as she notched her seventh double-double of the season. Nwanguma scored 22 points and grabbed 11 rebounds.
WHO TO WATCH: Nwanguma is leading the league with 9.8 rebounds per game, shooting 56.8 percent from the floor and averages 1.7 blocks per contest in Sun Belt play. Nwanguma scored a career-high 34 points this season when the Mavericks defeated UL Lafayette 73-54. She has recorded seven double-doubles this season.
GERLICH ERA: Krista Gerlich is in her first season at UTA after seven years at West Texas A&M. Gerlich compiled an impressive record of 168-53 in seven seasons at West Texas A&M. Her teams won four consecutive South Division Lone Star Conference titles from 2007-10 and three consecutive Lone Star Conference championships from 2008-10.
LINEUP CHANGE: Coach Gerlich has used five lineups in 24 games so far this season. Senior Laila Suleiman and junior transfer Tahlia Pope have remained starters in all 24 contests.
MAVERICKS IN 2013-14: UT Arlington returns eight letterwinners and two starters from last year. The Mavericks welcome two freshmen as well as four transfers (one sophomore and three juniors) for the 2013-14 season.
