2014 Schedule

LAKE CHARLES, Louisiana - Sunday's series finale between UT Arlington and McNeese State was rained out and will not be made up. The Mavericks and Cowboys split the first two games of the series.

UT Arlington won 9-8 on Friday in 19 innings, setting several school records, including longest game. McNeese State came back to win 6-5 Saturday with a run in the bottom of the ninth.

"We played well against a good team," UT Arlington coach Darin Thomas said. "Disappointing that we led the whole game yesterday except for the inning that counts.

"Thought we had great at-bats yesterday against one of the better arms (Bryce Kingsley) we will see. We just needed the knockout blow to get him out of there earlier."

UT Arlington (1-5) returns to action Tuesday at No. 19 TCU. First pitch from Lupton Stadium is 6:30 p.m. and the game will be televised on Fox Sports Southwest Plus.
