Sept. 27, 2014 Tucker Round 3
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - UT Arlington fell back to 13th place at the conclusion of the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate. The Mavericks shot a 24-over-par 312 in Saturday's final round.
"The winds blew and we wasted too many shots," UT Arlington coach Jay Rees said. "It's disappointing because I know these guys are better than this, but we are what we are shooting right now."
UTA freshman Aaron Guanlao was the team's highest finisher, tying for 38th after a 10-over 226. Zach Galliford (T47, 228), Josh Radcliff (T55, 230), Jake Argento (T64, 232) and Andrew Cornella (T77, 236) also competed.
None of the Mavericks shot lower than a 76 in the third round. UTA returns to action Oct. 6 at the Utah Invitational.
