ARLINGTON, Texas - UT Arlington women's basketball is playing host to Jacksonville on Friday at 7:15 p.m. at College Park Center in Preseason WNIT. Tickets are $10 for the general public and $3 for UTA students at UTATickets.com.

The WNIT announced matchups and hosts for the eight consolation teams that lost in the opening round of the Preseason WNIT. UT Arlington and Southern Illinois will host in Consolation Rounds 1 and 2.

The Lady Mavericks are hosting Dartmouth, Jacksonville and McNeese State. The first round of games will be played Friday, with Dartmouth and McNeese State playing at 5 p.m. followed by Jacksonville-UTA. On Saturday, the winners play each other, as do the losers. UT Arlington will play in the 7:15 p.m. game Saturday regardless of its outcome Friday. The other game will tip at 5 p.m.

In the other consolation group, Southern Illinois will host Alabama State, Siena and Tennessee State. Alabama State and Tennessee State will meet Friday, followed by Siena at Southern Illinois. The format remains winners and losers playing each other.

This will be each team's second and third games in the three-game guarantee tournament.
