BSB: UTA Announces Winter Camp Dates

HS Pitching Development Camp | Winter Pitching/Catching Showcase

ARLINGTON, Texas -
UT Arlington has announced its winter baseball camps schedule which features a preseason pitching development camp for high-school level players, in addition to a pitching and catching showcase. All camps will be held at Clay Gould Ballpark.

High School Pitching Development Camp
January 12-14
5:00-6:15 p.m.
Price: $115

The UT Arlington Preseason High School Pitcher Throwing Development Camp is a great opportunity to prepare for the 2016 high school baseball season. At the UTA Pre-Season High School Pitcher Throwing Development Camp participants will be taken through a repertoire of advanced throwing drills and arm care techniques over a three day period. The camp meeting dates are Tuesday, January 12, 2016, Wednesday, January 13, 2016, and Thursday, January 14, 2016. All of the three sessions will meet from 5:00 PM until 6:15 PM.

Winter Pitching/Catching Showcase

1:00-3:00 p.m.

The UT Arlington Winter Pitching & Catching High School Showcase Clinic is a great opportunity for high school baseball pitchers and catchers to showcase their skills in front of a collegiate coaching staff. Attendees of the Winter High Pitching & Catching Clinic will be taken through an extensive workout. Workout for pitchers will include a proper stretching and warm-up routine, long toss throwing progression, live evaluation bullpen, and post-throwing arm maintenance. Workout for catchers will include a proper stretching and warm-up routine, proper receiving technique, blocking, throwing, pop times, plays at the plate, live evaluation in bullpen, and short hitting evaluation.

*Per NCAA rules, all camps and clinics conducted by The University of Texas at Arlington are open to any and all entrants and enrollment is only limited based on age, grade level, gender, or number restrictions specified by each camp.
