Round 3 Results

PALM DESERT, California - UT Arlington moved up to two spots Sunday to seventh place to close out the 2015 Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate and post the Mavericks' second-best showing of year.

Jake Argento led UTA's team contingent by finishing with tied for 16th with a three-round total of 3-over-par 219. The senior was tied for fourth going into Sunday.

Aaron Guanlao's 5-over 221 tied for 30th. Cash Wilkerson shot an even-par 72 in the third round to mover to tie for 38th. Jake Greenspoon finished with a 1-under 71 to shoot up 36 places to tie for 38th. Zach Galliford (229, T72) was the final team member. Marley Sweeney (230, T77) played as an individual.

UTA's highest finish was tying for fifth at the Utah Ogio Invitational back in October.

The next event for UTA is the Border Olympics in Laredo, Texas, beginning on March 13.
