Get set for the Sun Belt Conference Championship

ARLINGTON, Texas - Maverick fans and alum, the men and women's basketball Sun Belt Conference Championship is just around the corner. Now is the time to get your tickets and reserve your place in a fantastic weekend full of excitement, fun and spirited competition.
The 2015 Sun Belt Conference men's and women's basketball championship will take place at Lakefront Arena in New Orleans, Louisiana. The women's tournament will be held March 11-14 and the men's will take place the 12-15.
The top eight teams with the best conference winning percentages will compete for the Sun Belt Championship and a berth into the NCAA Basketball Championship.

Along with being able to enjoy a weekend filled with competitive basketball and watching your Mavericks play, the Sun Belt will be putting on a Jambalaya cook-off to give a real taste of New Orleans.
The 2015 Sun Belt Saturday Jambalaya Cook-Off will take place March 14 at Lakefront Arena Grounds and will benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Enjoy a day of family fun while supporting the Sun Belt Conference and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Sun Belt Saturday will begin at 10 a.m. on March 14 at Lakefront Arena Grounds. It will be a day full of music, food and family fun. It's a great way to kick off the weekend.
Ticket Information
The 2015 Sun Belt Conference Men's and Women's Basketball Championships, presented by First Bank and Trust, March 11-15 at Lakefront Arena in New Orleans, will consist of 14 games in eight sessions. Tickets for the tournament can be purchased as either an all-session ticket book or as a single-session ticket. Sun Belt students are admitted free with valid school ID.
Single-session tickets, which allows access to the two games listed in the session, except for the championship games, are on sale now and can be purchased for $15.
Tickets are currently on sale at utatickets.com. All-Tournament ticket price is $99 and will give you access to every game all weekend long. Tickets will be mailed throughout the month of February once purchased. Will call tickets will be available for pick up at Lakefront Arena starting March 11th.
In addition, fans who wish to sit closer to the action can purchase a VIP ticket book which includes a ticket to each men's and women's game and access to a hospitality area which includes food and beverages throughout the tournament. The VIP tickets are $200 and can be purchased by contacting John Barranco, barranco@sunbeltsports.org.

The Mavericks are currently in fourth place in the SBC standings and the women are tied for seventh. There are nine games left of the regular season, three of which are at the CPC so make sure to come out and support your Mavs and ensure their spot in the playoffs.
