NEW ORLEANS -- The Sun Belt Conference finalized the 2015-16 men's and women's basketball schedule. The conference will utilize a 20-game conference schedule for each men's and women's basketball program for the second consecutive season.

Men's and women's basketball games will be played as doubleheaders for the second consecutive year to accommodate the 20-game schedule. A majority of the men's and women's basketball coaches, with approval by a majority of the 11 athletic directors in the Sun Belt Conference, voted to maintain the 20-game schedule for the upcoming season.

All games, including the previously vacant rivalry games, have been scheduled for the 2015-16 conference season. Tip times for conference games will be announced by each institution at a later date.

The 2016 Sun Belt Conference Men's and Women's Basketball Championships return to New Orleans and the Lakefront Arena. The tournaments will run from March 9-13, 2016 with the top eight teams from the men's and women's basketball sides qualifying for the tournament.
