ARLINGTON, Texas - Single game tickets to cheer on the UT Arlington men and women's basketball teams this season go on sale Friday morning through the UTA Box Office.
Season, single game and group ticket options are available online at UTATickets.com, by calling (817) 272-9595 or by visiting the UTA Box Office at College Park Center between 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Single game tickets are available for as low as $8 and groups of 10 or more can call the UTA Box Office for discount information.
Several affordable season ticket options are currently available. Season tickets are offered for as low as $99 per seat and include entry to each of the 27 total men and women's games during the 2016-17 season.
In addition to courtside and baseline section options, Maverick Club floor, center court and club level season tickets are available. Contact the Maverick Club at (817) 272-9613 for more information.
UTA faculty and staff are eligible to purchase a 2016-17 All Sports Pass for just $99. The specially-priced pass includes general admission entry to every ticketed regular season sporting event at UTA during the academic year. UTA employees can log in to UTATickets.com or create a new account using a UTA email address to purchase tickets online.
The UTA men's team, picked by most college basketball experts as the favorite to win the Sun Belt Conference title, is scheduled to host a total of 13 home games. The Mavericks will open their season on Saturday, Nov. 12 against Texas Southern as part of the University's annual homecoming weekend.
After the conclusion of its 4-game non-conference home schedule, the team welcomes Coastal Carolina University in the Chanticleers' first men's league basketball game in the Sun Belt on New Year's Eve. Appalachian State will be open 2017 with a Jan. 2 contest as the month also includes home games against ULM and Louisiana.
The men and women's teams will host their annual rivalry games against Texas State on Feb. 4, while the men welcome defending league champion Little Rock on Feb. 13 and conclude their home schedule on Feb . 27 against Troy.
The UTA women's team hosts five non-league games, prior to opening its Sun Belt schedule on Dec. 29 against Appalachian State. UTA will host a total of 14 games during the season.
The Lady Mavs also open their season on homecoming weekend, hosting defending Conference USA champion UT San Antonio on Nov. 13 at 2 p.m. UTA also hosts Wichita State on Nov. 20 and Stephen F. Austin on Dec. 3 as part of its non-league schedule.
Coastal Carolina will be in town to close out 2016 in the first game of a double-header with the men's team beginning at 2 p.m. Defending Sun Belt champion Arkansas State will visit College Park Center on Feb. 11 and South Alabama will serve as the opponent for the Lady Mavs' regular season home finale on Feb. 25.
