PALM DESERT, California - UT Arlington men's golf is tied for 15th after Friday's first round of the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate.

Zach Galliford and Aaron Guanlao were the high Mavericks, sitting tied for 37th after each shooting 3-over-par 75 at the Classic Club. UTA's team total was 306, with Jake Greenspoon and Josh Radcliff contributing with matching 78s. Harrison Moore came in with an 80.

The third round is Saturday. Kansas leads the 20-team tournament after a first-round 285.
