NEW ORLEANS - The 2017 Sun Belt Championship bracket was released by the league office on Saturday as the 12-team tournament is set to tip off on Tuesday at Lake Front Arena.

The Lady Mavericks concluded the regular season with a 21-7 overall record and earned the No. 2 seed after a 14-4 league record. UTA was one of four teams to earn a first-round bye and will play its first game on Thursday, March 9 at 5 p.m. on ESPN3.

Tuesday's first round will feature No. 8 seed Coastal Carolina (13-15, 8-10) taking on No. 9 Appalachian State (11-18, 6-12) at 11:30 a.m. (CT). The Chanticleers enter the tournament riding a three-game winning streak and ended the regular season with a 56-53 win over the Mountaineers on Saturday.

The winner of the game between the Chanticleers and Mountaineers will face Little Rock on Thursday at 11:30 a.m. (CT).

Tuesday's second game will showcase fifth-seeded Louisiana (17-10, 11-7) against No. 12 ULM (6-23, 3-15) at 2:00 p.m. (CT). The winner of this game will face fourth-seeded Texas State (16-13, 11-7) on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. (CT).

The 5:00 p.m. (CT) game will pit seventh-seeded Georgia State (12-17, 8-10) against No. 10 South Alabama (10-19, 5-13). UTA, the No. 2 seed in the tournament, will face the winner of the No. 7/No. 10 game on Thursday at 5:00 p.m. (CT).

Sixth-seeded Georgia Southern (13-16, 9-9) will face No. 11 Arkansas State (6-24, 4-14) in Tuesday's finale at 7:30 p.m. (CT). The winner of this game will face third-seeded Troy (19-10, 12-6) on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. (CT).

The winners of Thursday's games will advance to Saturday's semifinals with the two winning teams from Saturday's games scheduled to meet on Sunday night at 6:00 p.m. CT for the tournament championship.

All games of the 2017 Sun Belt Conference Women's Basketball Championships will be broadcast live on ESPN3.
