ARLINGTON, Texas - Riding a three-match winning streak, the UTA volleyball team will look to continue its winning ways with a pair of road matches in Alabama this weekend. On Friday, the Mavs battle Troy at 6:30 p.m., before heading to Mobile for a Saturday night (6:30 p.m.) contest at South Alabama.

LAST TIME OUT | UTA VS. APP STATE (OCT. 13)
The UT Arlington volleyball team picked up a second consecutive sweep and extended their winning streak to three matches, with a 25-19, 25-18, 25-14 win over App State on Saturday night (Oct. 13).
Zhanelle Geathers finished with a match-high 10 kills in the win over Coastal. She also added a dig, three blocks and hit .429 in the match.
Kylie Jedlicka added seven kills, four digs and three blocks, while
Madison Hill finished with 10 digs, five kills and five blocks.
Brooke Townsend chipped in with eight kills and hit .235, while
Alex Janak finished with 15 assists and six digs.
SCOUTING TROY
Troy is currently the second-hottest team in the league, riding a four-match winning streak.
The Trojans lead the Sun Belt in aces this season (1.56) and rank fifth in opponent hitting percentage (.188), assists (12.13) and kills (12.75). Amara Anderson is the league's top setter at 10.82 assists/set. She has also won Sun Belt Setter of the Week honors each of the past two weeks. Cheyenne Hayes ranks third in kills (3.75) and fifth in aces (0.36).
SCOUTING SOUTH ALABAMA
South Alabama ranks third in the conference in hitting percentage (.230) and service aces per set (1.36) entering the weekend. Kelley Hartman ranks third in the Sun Belt in service aces per set (0.37), while Ashlyn Roberts ranks 10th in digs per set (3.45).
Parker Harrell ranks ninth in the league in assists per set (5.70), and Rachael DeMarcus ranks 10th with an average 5.60 assists per set.
In conference matches, the Jaguars rank third in hitting percentage (.229), and fourth in service aces per set (1.29). Morgan Stalcup ranks third in hitting percentage (.424) in Sun Belt contests, while Hartman and Roberts rank tied for fifth in service aces per set (0.32). DeMarcus ranks eighth in assists per set (6.65) in league matches.
NEXT UP FOR THE MAVS
The Mavericks will return home to host a couple of Sun Belt Conference contests next weekend. UTA will host ULM on Friday, Oct. 26, before welcoming Louisiana into the College Park Center on Saturday, Oct. 27. First serve for both matches is set for 6:30 p.m.
