COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- The UTA men's and women's track teams capped their stellar regular seasons with another strong performance Saturday at the Texas A&M Alumni Muster.

Among the highlights were the relay teams' showings. On the men's side, the 4x100m squad of
Isaiah McBride,
Deontre Haynes,
D'Undre Mitchell and
Anthony Aldridge crossed with UTA's best time of the season (39.81) and the fastest time in the Sun Belt. It also ranks as the No. 14 time in the NCAA West and No. 34 nationally in 2019.

The men's 4x400m squad improved upon its league-best time in the event, as the contingent of Mitchell,
Brenden Wallace,
Erik Martinsson and
David Seastrunk were clocked at 3:07.72. The Mavericks now own the fastest time in the SBC by more than four seconds.

The women's 4x400m crew also posted its best time of the season.
Tatyana Terrell,
Vanessa Ugorji,
Mikayla Koester and
Brianna McClure ran a 3:45.45, which was 2 ½ seconds faster than UTA's previous best.

The UTA women shined in the field as well.
Alexus Henry added another high jump title to her resume in her final regular season meet, as she cleared 5-9 ¾ (1.77m).

Abigail Kelly-Salo posted the No. 4 pole vault in school history with a mark of 12-8 ¾ (3.88m). Additionally,
Rhiley Fritz was second in the javelin, first among collegians with a best throw of 153-1 (46.67m).

For the men, McBride was runner up in the men's long jump with a mark of 23-6 ¼ (7.17m), while Haynes took sixth in the 200 meters with his best time of the season (21.07).

UTA is next in action at the Sun Belt Conference Outdoor Championships May 10-12 in Jonesboro, Ark. After winning both the cross country and indoor track titles, men are seeking to win the league's "triple crown" for the third time.
