ARLINGTON, Texas – UT Arlington volleyball will play seven matches in the 2021 spring season, announced by head coach
J.T. Wenger on Monday. The schedule will feature all non-conference opponents, including Big-12 and DFW foe TCU.

"We are excited that we get to compete this spring and fortunate to play some tough regional competition," said Wenger. "This will be a great opportunity to build from this past fall, while also developing the program for the future."

The Mavericks will begin the spring slate on the road against Abilene Christian on January 29
th and 30
th. The lone home match will be against the Horned Frogs of TCU on Friday, March 5
th at 2 p.m. The home match against TCU will follow the same protocols as the fall – no fans except for the approved pass list. The season will conclude the next day when the Mavs travel to Fort Worth to take on TCU.

The three remaining games include two against Tarleton State (Feb. 5 and Feb. 6) and one against North Texas (Feb. 11).

The Mavericks went 11-7 in the fall, including a 10-6 record in Sun Belt play. The Mavs will look to add a few more wins to their resume that already includes a win over Texas State (3-0) in San Marcos.
