ARLINGTON – The UT Arlington men's basketball camp returns this summer for the first time in the
Greg Young era.
The skills day camp runs June 20-23 for all students entering 2nd-9th grade in 2022-23. Camp programming will run from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. daily; extra care can be provided with written request from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. All activities will take place in the state-of-the-art College Park Center on UTA's campus.
Campers will be taught all aspects of the game and how to play Maverick-style basketball. Emphasis will be placed on fundamentals, including: passing, ball handling, shooting, rebounding, defense and teamwork.
The cost of the camp is just $275, and there is a 10 percent early-bird discount for those who register by Apr. 30. That price includes lunch each day, and a meal schedule will be distributed prior to the start of camp.
